If it becomes necessary to close the schools because of snow, icing conditions, or any other emergency, the school closing announcement will be carried several ways.
1. Visit our school web-site at www.sv99.org
2. Sign up for the BCR Alerts system to receive District 99 instant text or e-mail messages at http://my.textcaster.com/ServePopup.aspx?id=1535
3. Listen to one of the following Radio or TV stations:

If it is necessary that schools be closed for more than one day, the announcement will be repeated each day. If there is no announcement, the schools will be open.
